He has worked out a unique style that showcases his many talents. “Before any TV appearance I practise a lot.
I study a trick for a minimum of eight hours. Most of my TV appearances are live and you never want those to go wrong because you’ll ruin your reputation. I study all the angles and make it as perfect as I can. I had a hugely popular show on Al Dhafra TV during Ramadan. I’m now in talks with a few other TV channels. I was on Sama Dubai TV, which really helped launch me.” Moein Al Bastaki says in his interview to Friday Magazine. “I think the most important is public speaking. You’re standing in front of hundreds or thousands of educated people and you need to be confident enough to fool them.”
As Moein confesses “I would prefer to give a brand to the Arab world rather than just buying expensive tricks. It’s more about me connecting with the audience and performing something that amazes them.”
His latest performances can be watched here The best award for Moein is seeing satisfied faces in the audiences. At this point Moein is on his way to becoming the well-known magician among Arab public. “
I’m very open-minded and I watch lots of magicians to see if I can do what I’ve seen them do. I’m always looking for the next thing that can be adapted for my repertoire. ” says Moein.
